The Walk Walking Ball

Tim, like many 23 year-olds, dreamed of going to Germany to support England in the 2006 World Cup Finals. It helped to sustain him during the long hard months of chemotherapy.

Sadly, Tim will never make that trip. His father John, however, has decided that he will travel to Germany himself but every mile will be covered on foot. Driven by a conviction that the lives of more young adults can be saved, John will use the walk as a platform from which to launch a major fundraising initiative.

The World Cup 500m
The walk will start from the new Wembley Stadium on FA Cup Final day and finish at the Waldstadion in Frankfurt in time for England's opening match on June 10th - fulfilling Tim's dream and, hopefully, having successfully completed the first stage of the Trust's fund raising journey.
